I am a qualified teacher and have a degree in textile design and I am now running classes from my own studio in Farnborough, Hampshire. We will be re-opening the studio for workshops soon.

1 Day Workshop - Free-Motion Stitching and Fusible Appliqué

In this fun workshop I will give you an introduction to fusible appliqué free-motion stitching with your sewing machine. These are my favourite techniques and a really important part of how I achieve my quilting style.

Honestly, no real life drawing skills are required. I will be right there to help you design, draw any templates required and guide you to create your very own unique projects. I look forward to meeting and creating with you!

1 Day Workshop - Quilted memories to cherish

During our day together, I will tell you the inspiration behind my work and share some of the stories that inspired my memory quilt. You will learn how I layer techniques such as fusible applique, free-motion stitching, hand quilting, embroidery and quilt-as-you-go and begin to create unique pieces inspired by your favourite sayings, stories, animals, birds, holiday, song or other memories!

I will be right there to help you draw, design and create your own family heirloom. So come, gather your letters and your threads and stitch with me.

8-day Switzerland Quilting Retreat - 23rd Sep 2024

Join me for this wonderful quilting retreat. We will spend three and a half days at the Bernina Creative Centre in workshops creating lovely personal projects reflecting our time in Switzerland.

The itinerary also includes a full-day trip to Zurich (the home of Lindt chocolate!), a visit to the historical centre of the textile industry in Switzerland, St. Gallen, with its amazing UNESCO World Heritage sites, and an excursion to see the charmingly quaint and medieval town of Stein am Rhein.
